Job Description
As part of their job role, OAM GPS engineers work on customer cases and page outs related with Operations and Maintenance related components of the AS5200 and SSL products. Main areas include System Upgrades, System database, network elements such as Provisioning and Element Management servers, network element deployment software and 3rd party operating system patches. Engineers are expected to resolve challenging administration and configuration issues involving Oracle Database, Linux and Solaris Operating Systems that could not be resolved by the Tier 1 support teams. Also, team is transitioning to the GPS model and engineers are expected to resolve software quality issues by using a mixture of software development technologies including Java, Java Server Pages, Java Scripting, SQL and Perl.

Preferred Skills
We are looking for a graduate in Computer or Electrical/Electronics engineering with experience or knowledge in a number of the below areas:

• Database Administration (preferably Oracle)
• OO programming
• One of the following computer languages: Java, C, C++
• Linux/Solaris knowhow is a plus
• For male candidates having completed military service or deferred at least 3 years.
• Superior English language skills as these positions involve communication and reporting in English.
