Job Description
Nortel Netas is seeking Contact Center Integration and Acceptance Senior Engineer for its growing Center of Excellence department in Istanbul.
This role is focused on the successful execution of Nortel’s Voice over IP Enterprise solution strategy. As a Contact center I&A Engineer you will work closely with the Customer Primes , Engineering Team and the Enterprise Support team to implement, support and maintain the Contact center solution. The I&A Engineer will ensure backoffice activities including the preparation of configuration of a customer system on lab systems.

The Senior I&A Engineer will be a teamleader to coach the overall team, act as a gateway in the projects to handle skill based routing within the team. This role will also involve working with COE Lab primes for maintaining the Enterprise lab. The Senior I&A Engineer will become a Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of the Contact Center product and will support the team and particularly the new hires.

There will be up to 25 percent travel to multiple customer sites.

Preferred Skills
• Skills & Knowledge Required
o Strong technical support skills across one or more products.
o Excellent customer interface and management skills.
o Familiarity with Nortel base technologies, platforms and products.
o Strong understanding of VoIP, TCP/IP, H.323 and SIP.
o Understanding of Call Center applications – IVR, VM, Skills routing.
o Understanding of IP Network Security Concerns.
o Understanding of IP Network Management Practices.
o Understanding of Unified Communications direction and concepts.
o Nortel product development and lifecycle management practices.
o Excellent written and oral communications.
o Presentation development and delivery skills.
o Ability to work within both independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications
• Experience across technical support or system administration in telecom operators or in ISPs.
• Track record of successfully working with internal and external groups across multiple products & technologies
• Experience with communication network solutions implementation (Engineering/installation/commissioning)
• University degree in Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or Engineering or related fields
• Certification in VoIP would be an asset..
