o Strong technical support skills across one or more products.
o Excellent customer interface and management skills.
o Familiarity with Nortel base technologies, platforms and products.
o Strong understanding of VoIP, TCP/IP, H.323 and SIP.
o Understanding of Call Center applications – IVR, VM, Skills routing.
o Understanding of IP Network Security Concerns.
o Understanding of IP Network Management Practices.
o Understanding of Unified Communications direction and concepts.
o Nortel product development and lifecycle management practices.
o Excellent written and oral communications.
o Presentation development and delivery skills.
o Ability to work within both independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications
• Experience across technical support or system administration in telecom operators or in ISPs.
• Track record of successfully working with internal and external groups across multiple products & technologies
• Experience with communication network solutions implementation (Engineering/installation/commissioning)
• University degree in Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or Engineering or related fields
• Certification in VoIP would be an asset..
