Generic skills:
• Min 3 years experience in software design development and testing
• Technical Expertise on UNIX, Linux and Windows OS
• Analysis
• Initiative
• Ability to test and debug software.
• Ability to clearly document software designs utilizing standard documentation tools and procedures.
• Very good communication skills in written and spoken English
Specific Technical Skills for Development:
• Experience with PLS required.
• Experience/knowledge in PROTEL would be required.
• Experience/knowledge in the on-switch software debugging model/implementation would be required
• Experience/knowledge in the X.25 protocol would be an asset.
• Experience/knowledge in using/programming TEAM would be a strong asset.
• Experience/knowledge in using/programming the PROTEL compiler tools such as readstab and readxref would be a strong asset.
• Java design/programming, solid knowledge required including object oriented design, socket programming, and GUI design required
• Knowledge of Clearcase a strong asset
• Tcl/TK and expect scripting, solid knowledge strong asset
• Eclipse framework and custom development of Eclipse perspectives a strong asset
