Job Description
Nortel Netas is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer for its growing Materials Management Department in Istanbul. The person will mainly responsible for purchasing of Electronic Components and OEM products (Import & Local Source) sourcing and procurement.
Main tasks are;
- To create alternative suppliers and products portfolio for best possible supply solution
- To support R&D group with up-to-date product and supply market knowledge, provide optimum product alternatives to sustain Netas’ competitive position
- Evaluate the suppliers,
- To transmit orders to suppliers and ensure on time deliveries
- Follow up product life-cycles, plan and execute Last-Time-Buy process

Preferred Skills
• University degree in the field of Engineering Faculties, (Electronics, Mechanicals Engineers are preferred)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• 1-5 years of experience in purchasing of electronic components
• Computer literacy in MS Office Programs,
• Male candidates must have completed military service.
