A firm grasp of Flooring and flooring installation products' sales process to contractors through a multi-channel distribution in a multi-state region.  
•    An understanding of residential and commercial construction practices.
•    Administer pricing to support key projects, site inspections/claims when necessary, and product knowledge and training
•    Build relationships with distributors to achieve customer satisfaction and financial goals via joint-travel to key customers, sales promotions and presentations. Ability to resolve distribution channel conflicts
•    Regularly make joint sales calls with distributor sales representatives and management personnel with the primary emphasis to close business
•    Monitor and evaluating the market, activities and products of the competition
•    Prepare weekly reports of activity (daily if asked), results, action items, business transactions and keep detailed expense reports for travel and activities in the territory
•    Ability to be versatile and work independently and autonomously, while achieving results and exceeding goals.  
•    A proven track record of sales and profitability
•    Excellent customer service and presentation skills and effective administration skills.

Resilient Flooring products’ (especially LVT) technical details and Installation Practices
 Required Qualifications for the Regional Sales Manager
•    Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
•    3+ years of sales experience with Resilient Floorings
•    Valid driver’s license
•    Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including overnight travel when required
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
•    Self-starter with the ability to work independently within an assigned territory
