Arup is an independent global firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.
We are looking for young talents who are interested in Mechanical Engineering Building Practices, LEED/BREEAM/DGNB Rating Systems, Energy Modelling and Sustainable Design. Selected candidate will be working in our Istanbul (Europe) Office.
- Completion of Bachelor and/or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable universities,
- Good written and oral English communication skills,
- Knowledge and growing interest in HVAC design, LEED, BREEAM, DGNB green building certification systems, building energy modelling and sustainable building design,
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Building Services Engineering, a good grasp of fundamental principles, a willingness to adapt, develop skills in a wide range of project types, and at least 1 year of experience in sustainable design and energy modelling.
- Able to coordinate between mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural disciplines.
- Demonstrate high standards of accuracy, be proficient at working to tight deadlines and under pressure, and be able to prioritize tasks delegated by other team members.
- No military obligation for male candidates.
Aranan Nitelikler
- Involving in building services (mechanical) design activities (HVAC, public health and fire fighting) for broad range of building/project types. The group works with several high profile architects on a variety of projects.
- Working with architects and good communication with the clients. Providing interdisciplinary co-ordination and supervising document production.
- Responsible for the delivery of the building services design documents to the client, within time and to the highest quality.
- Performing energy analyses using advanced spreadsheets and building simulation softwares such as IES, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, HAP
- Performing daylight modeling by using simulation software such as ECOTECT
