British American Tobacco has started operating in Turkey in 2002. The company won the tender for the privatization of Tekel’s cigarette business in February 2008, making it the 5th largest privatization in Turkey with a bid of USD1.720bn. BAT Turkey, headquartered in Istanbul, continues its operations in a world-class manufacturing facility in Samsun, distributes cigarettes through its own distribution network with 9 regional offices and employs around 1.800 people. İş Tanımı
- Develop, gain approval and implement brand strategic plans
- Propose goals and KPIs for brand programs
- Propose changes to brand strategy
- Develop and execute an operational brand plan to meet brand's objectives and consumer segments requirements; develop innovative consumer engagement strategies, to include events, 1-to-1 communication, retail media, etc.
- Ensure appropriate involvement of agencies during the planning and implementation processes
- Ensure competitive product performance in defined consumer segments, initiate corrective actions; supervise consumer product testing to ensure consistency of product treatment, quality output of PSE studies and robust interpretation of findings
- Manage budget for brand programs
- Participate in the development of 12 month sales forecast for assigned brands
- Contribute to the overall development of Trade Marketing plans
- Prepare all management reports related to the brand and deliver brand related induction/training programs
- Develop and coach direct reports to ensure talented individuals feel motivated and are able to progress

Aranan Nitelikler
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a reputable and progressive FMCG company
- Addition to brand management experience, Having trade marketing experience is a plus
- Excellent command of English is compulsory
- Proven experience in motivating, coaching and developing people together with brand strategy development, brand portfolio management, product development and consumer engagement
- Enthusiastic, high performing and innovative person with effective communication skills
- Result oriented person who can think out of the box and operate strategically at the same time
- Effective negotiation, influencing, planning, relationship and people management skills
