Blacksea Cluster, consists of Turkey, Romania, Ukraine and Georgia under its scope area, is one of the fastest growing regions for Maersk Line with highest volume of Turkey. Turkey Manifest department is responsible for all activities related to Maersk Line in/outbound manifesting in this geography. Manifest team in Customer Service department has its scope of responsibility covers feeder and mother vessel Customs Manifest activities in Turkey.

We now offer an exciting and challenging position as: Transhipment Manifest Executive

Performing day to day transhipment follow up, analyzing & examining vessel connections, solving terminal discrepancies, finding/suggesting and examining alternatives; so as to decrease customs costs and increase customer satisfaction to reach country targets.

Key Responsibilities
• Preparing in/outbound manifests by using special software.
• Perform detailed analysis in manifests to facilitate decision making.
• Discrepancy clearing by contacting planning desks and customs brokers.
• Develop and implement improvements to ensure continuous excellence in whole transhipment process.
• Check shipments in inbound manifest if shipments meet prerequisites to be discharged/transshipped to/via Turkish Ports
• Execute any other tasks assigned by department manager.

Qualifications – The ideal candidate should have
• University degree and military status completed for male candidates.
• Strong sense of urgency, structure, initiative, ownership and competitive drive to get things done.
• Pro-active and positive mentality, enthusiasm, ability to work under pressure.
• Good command of both written and spoken in Turkish and English are a prerequisite.
• Analytical skills enabling to analyze reports in order to understand and explain variances.
• Should be an active team player, multi-tasking and prioritizing to meet deadlines/targets in an organized manner, seeking new solutions and open to new ideas
• Customs Procedures & Maritime law knowledge is a plus
• Excellent command of MS applications (especially MS Excel)
