ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close

Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable

Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations

Maintaining the general ledger system

Analyzing monthly prepaid and fixed asset roll forwards and related schedules

Follow and monitor accounts payable sub ledger details and aging

Consider bank reconciliations and corporate credit card reconciliations

Assist with the quarterly review and annual audit

Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles

Manage and develop staff of two individuals

We are currently seeking Account Manager for our customer which has operations in Medical sector.

Bachelors Degree required in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

4-7 years relevant financial accounting experience

Detailed understanding of fluctuations on expense and balance sheet accounts

Experience in manipulating large data sets (Excel power user)

Mix of public accounting and private experience desired

Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Has had experience managing a small team

Experience in a fast paced, results-oriented, hands-on environment
