International hotel chain, an award winning Hotel Brand, are looking for a highly organised and experienced Front Office Manager for this stunningly refurbished Hotel in Ankara.

This would suit a Senior or Head Receptionist with Revenue management experience looking to branch out into a Management position, within a quality organisation to further their career objectives and goals.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate an understanding of all aspects of the effective running, consolidation, and mangement of customer accounts and bookings. Have a very detailed, and organised approach to the management of the Hotel online and multimedia prescence and advertising.

To effectively manage, roster, and coach a dedicated team to ensure that the Reception and Front Desk areas are always readily available to the Customers and Visitors to the Hotel, and maximise upselling through the Team at these opportunities, to proactively encourage Revenue growth.

Help maintain all required OPERA, IT and administrative reporting to other Heads of Department and Hotel Management, as required daily, weekly and monthly.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

 

•Senior leader of the Front Office leadership team

•Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

•Lead and manage all aspects of the Front Office department

•Ensure all service standards are followed while inspiring teams to achieve the goals of the department

•Establish effective goals, measurements and action plans for the department in all pillars; Colleague Engagement, Guest Satisfaction and Financial results

Maximize rooms revenue through participation in yield management meetings and supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices

•Develop/update job descriptions, job task checklists, training manuals, systems and procedures for all positions and ensure they are clearly documented and easily accessible.

•Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas

•Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings

•Prepare forecasts reports and manage the departmental budget while ensuring adequate supplies

•Balance operational, administrative, Colleague and Leadership needs

•Effective recruitment, selection, training and performance management for all positions within the department

•Responsible for weekly scheduling and payroll management

•Develop a strong team through consistent, effective leadership, operations and succession planning

•Adhere to the crisis management and business continuity plans for the department

•Participate in daily operational meetings and weekly leadership meetings

•Follow department policies and procedures, applying strict adherence to luxury standards and completing regular audits within the division to ensure compliance

•Follow all safety policies 

•Other duties as assigned

Aranan Nitelikler

•Previous leadership experience required

•Previous Property Management System experience required

•Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required

•University/College degree in a related discipline preferred

•Must possess a professional presentation

•Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

•Previous 4-star/4-diamond hotel experience highly preferred

•Highly motivated, organized, goal and results oriented individual who thrives under pressure

•Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop a team

•Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office, Guest Services and Loyalty Program operations

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
