IT Team Leader

As an independent TPA (Third Party Administration) company, CGM HPSIS (Health Payer Service and Information Systems) serves health payers such as private health insurance companies, public and private employee funds in order to manage operational processes on behalf of health payers and developing customizable IT solutions. With more than 200 employees, CGM HPSIS performs Underwriting (UW), Policy Production (PP), 7/24 Authorization Services, claim operations, contracted healthcare providers management, hospital offices and mobile physician services together with electronic authorization systems as well as develops domain-specific Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

• Lead and manage small and medium projects, including planning, issue management, coordination of personnel across multiple functions and locations.
• Execute server monitoring processes to proactively identify, document and remediate security risks and to ensure high system availability and reduce system downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve PC and server system outages, determine root causes, and implement system improvement process to minimize downtime.
• Evaluates, analyzes and audits production systems processes and equipment, and helps develop and implement solutions to aid with the continuity of operations. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

Required Diploma in Computer Science; Bachelors Degree preferred

MCSE Certifications or equivalent experience required

CompTIA/RHCE Linux certifications or equivalent experience

 

Experience:

Minimum five (5) years as a system administrator managing and supporting some or all of the following:

 

Windows systems:

Users and Group Management

Computers Management

Windows Server 2003 and/or 2008

Windows7 and later version

PC Build Process

Software installation process for client PCs

 

Linux systems:

Basic Linux configuration

Firewalling

 

Network:

Strong Understanding of network LAN technologies and devices

VLAN topologies, link aggregation and stacking

 

Hardware:

Dell or HP Server and PC Hardware

Strong skills in SAN/Raid configurations

Tape Libraries experience

 

Virtualization/Applications:

VMWare and/or HyperV Server Virtualization Technologies

Veeam Enterprise

Trend Antivirus

  

Experience with problem solving methodologies and ability to perform root cause analysis. Some experience with IT project management.
