Experienced Senior Tax

Main responsibilities of Tax Experienced Senior are:

• To research issues as requested by management and recommend possible opinion or position to management
• To formulate client tax recommendations applying technical knowledge and research
• To develop and maintain distinct tax relationships with peers at client organizations
• To build and maintain internal firm relationships necessary to support client work
• To apply firm quality processes, quality control procedures and to identify potential areas of risk and discuss those issues with management
• To provide tax research that substantiates a tax position or opinion
• To research issues to support advice as it relates to the appropriate jurisdictions
• To guide and direct staff to increase opportunities for learning and development within assignments
• To use allocated resources effectively to complete assignments on time and within budget and to deliver product within agreed- upon time frame and budget
• To inform manager of work status and alert manager of situations that may lead to exceeding or changing budget
• To identify and assist in the timely resolution of any professional, technical, or client service

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field with a concentration on Accounting and Finance or in Engineering with an MBA, MS in Economics, Finance
• 3-4 years experience in Tax (Tax audits, tax certification and sworn financial advisory services)
• Preferably holding SMMM certification
• Familiar with the tax consulting process
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
• Expertise with MS Office spreadsheet (Excel), Word processing (Word), and presentation (PowerPoint) software
• Analytical and structured thinking, strong problem solving and diagnosis skills
• Self discipline
• Being a good team player with outstanding communication skills
