Business Development Representative for Dow Agrosciences (m/f)

Job summary

Under the supervision of Business Development Leader, Business Development Representative is responsible to promote all DAS Turkey products in his territory by providing technical support to the commercial team, building demonstrations at farms, interacting directly with users and supporting them with regards to their queries.

Business Development Representative will be working in a team with the Business Engineer within the territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible from Adana & South East Regions in Turkey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within the territory

• Achieving the sales plan prepared with the business engineer, which is approved by the Commercial Manger.

• Preparing and working to achieve the working plan with Business Development Leader. The working plan is approved by Business Development Leader.

• Responsibility to promote and create demand for current and next season from targeted dealers, cooperatives and big farmers according to product and sales strategy.

• Responsibility to track competitors and competition products information. Understanding the customer needs and preparing comparisons between our products and competition. Managing the communication to commercial and R&D groups.

• Liaising with the local government officials and extension for Dow Agrosciences products

• Responsible to make all product presentations for the customers of his territory. With the approval of the Business Development Leader, requesting support from Turkey R&D department especially for the new products.

• Responsible for technical claim management in his territory. Liaising with the R&D team for support regarding the newly registered products is also part of the job responsibilities.

• Making the technical analysis for end of year sales campaign with the Business Engineer.

• Following the company rules, protecting the company image and equipment.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the diversity and characteristic specifics of the region
• Fluency in English & Turkish is a mandatory requirement.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of plant and crop protection products.
• Minimum education level of Bachelors Degree from Agronomics or Crop Protection
