For our new branch office located in Istanbul Turkey, we are seeking “Software Developers” who are enthusiastic to develop and implement new technologies for energy efficiency and renewable energy systems.

As a software developer you would design and build computer programs that involve:
• Object Oriented Programming
• Relational Databases, Data Warehouse and Data Mining technologies
• Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
• Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs)

You will work closely with academicians and engineers, and devise technical plans to meet the needs of the projects. A typical project would include the following steps:
• Programming a test version of a piece of software
• Testing installation and compatibility issues
• Checking test results and fixing technical problems (known as bugs)
• Installing a full version and carrying out final checks before going ‘live’
• Maintaining and supporting systems once they are up and running.

You may write computer programs from scratch, or amend existing programs to meet the needs of the project.

Increasingly, you could be working with a range of web-based technologies and wireless embedded systems therefore you would need to understand how databases integrate with these systems.

Required Skills:

1. Ability to apply technical standards, principles, theories and techniques
2. Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++,
3. Database systems experience with SQL Server, Oracle 10-11g
4. Experience in Graphical User Interface development
5. Possesses problem solving capabilities
6. Good in English and/or German language skills
