Financial Controller

We are looking for ‘Financial Controller’ for our leading multinational company

Main Purpose / Objective of Role : Accountable for the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities :

• To prepare monthly reports according to IFRS
• To prepare monthly management reports, calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
• To support business units in the decision making process
• To prepare quarterly forecast
• To coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
• Follow up on KPI’s
• To issue timely and complete periodic financial statements
• Reporting to company CFO and headquarter
• Key business partner for Top Management
• Management and development of Financial reporting analyst
• As a Risk Champion, to develop and keep the risk management system updated

Education  

• University degree level in Business Administration, Economics or a similar area

Experience           

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate and international environment
• Proven understanding and application of financial controlling and reporting systems
• Very good knowledge in Turkish GAAP and IFRS
• Competent in MS Office applications and reporting tools
• Navision, Qlikview and SAP BPC experience is an asset
• Audit experience is a plus
