Financial Reporting Analyst

We are looking for ‘Financial Reporting Analyst’ for our leading multinational company

Main Purpose / Objective of Role : Reporting to company controller, preparing documentation that reflects company’s financial standing to be used for internal and external sources and is used to create budgets and conduct audits. Using IFRS to create financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate financial reporting throughout the organization by working closely with various departments and management.

Responsibilities

• To prepare periodic financial and operational reports for the company
• To analyze the variances between local and IFRS reporting differences
• To support controller preparing the reports and analysis of top management
• To collect data from various departments and accounting in order to prepare the periodic financial reports
• To support controller in coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
• To prepare the KPI reports for top management
• Tracking and reporting economic indicators in order to use in reporting
• Monthly analysis of costs
• Working closely with IT department in order to prepare new reports in the ERP system
• To issue timely and complete periodic financial statements

Education

• University degree level in Business Administration, Economics or a similar area

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate and international environment
• Proven understanding and application of financial reporting systems
• Competent in MS Office applications (especially excel) and reporting tools
• Navision, Qlikview and SAP BPC experience is an asset
• Very good knowledge in Turkish GAAP and IFRS

• Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
• Very good knowledge of accounting and Turkish uniform chart of accounts
• Excellent analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work product
• Ability to meet and establish deadlines
• Strong human relations and team player attitude
