Otomasyon Uygulama Mühendisi (Application Engineer)

Our company is multinational company in automation sector. GEFRAN is one of the biggest producers within 1000 employers, 8 factories, 16 branch offices and several distributor in Italy.

We produce AC-DC-Servo drives, HMI&PLC, Sensors, Power & Controls products.

We built new branch company in Turkey and we want to grow in Turkish market with expert team for the future.

JOB Description:

• She/He will take all responsibility of Technical Department.
• Assist and support Technical Manager and customers
• Responding customer technical questions and offering them solutions
• Training Customers and System Integrators
• Commissioning of Gefran Products
• Programming new applications with Gefran Automation and Drive and Motion Products
• Following Warranty procedures (Pre-control of returned products and reporting them to Headquarter in Italy).
• Following Quality Control procedures (Reporting product faults to Headquarter in Italy)
• Before and end of Exhibitions helping for installations and uninstallations of products in booth area

Skils and Experience:

• Good command of English both written and spoken is a must, Italian will be an asset.
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Driver License (B)
• No obligation to travel 
• Reside in European side of Istanbul, close to Ataturk airport
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, Analog / Digital Signal Conceptions
• At Least 1 year experience in a related field,     
• Strong programming skills in PLC Software based on IEC 1131 Languages (IL, ST, LD, FBD, SFC) or Basic /C / C++ / C#
• Programming and designing HMIs or Experience with Visual Studio Environment
• Hands-on experience with Microcontrollers or PLC and Motion control systems (Servo, Step, Asynchronous Motors)
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of any of the following Industrial communication protocols. Modbus, CanOpen, Profibus, Ethernet Based other Protocols.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and product manuals.    

• Self-motivated and enjoys all aspects of Automation Systems
• Ability to work within multi-cultural and international work environment
• Excellent command of MS Office applications,(especially in Excel)
• Good communication skills and team – orientation
