Job Title: Deputy CIS Manager

Reports to: CIS Manager
Job Location: Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) North Side (a secure NATO military base)
Responsibilities:
Managing a multinational CIS (Communication Information Systems) team in the following activities:
- Helpdesk Team: Provides First Line support to customers via telephone in a timely and efficient manner. Prioritises and assesses customer problems to ensure that they are raised to the correct technical teams for solution
- Line Team: Provides First and Second Line support, troubleshooting and technical support for software and hardware issues.
- Other associated departments such as Spectrum Management (radio frequency allocation across the site).
- Agreeing costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these through the project
- Keeping management and clients updated on progress, writing or working with the CIS Team to provide reports where necessary

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
- Must be able to demonstrate the Relevant previous experience of the CIS or IT operations.
- Must be able to demonstrate the leadership and management skills and experience of leading a CIS or IT team.
- Internationally Recognized and must hold a valid national driving license.
- Familiar with terminology and standards of NATO CIS.
- Fluent in spoken and written İngilizce and Turkish.
- Able to hold a NATO Secret Clearance
- Experience in the MCP.
- Experience in the ECDL.
- Experience in networking.
- Experience with radio / pcs.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in working on NATO's operations and projects.
- Previous experience of a military background
- Experience of working with multi-national teams from the EU and North America.
