Hill is currently submitting a proposal for the Technical Assistance and Supervision for the Sanliurfa Wastewater Treatment Plant Project in Sanliurfa, Turkey. 

The overall object of the projects is to contribute to the compliance of the Municipality of Sanliurfa with the existing EU and Turkish Legislation of the Wastewater sector. 

The purpose is to modernize and increase the operation performance of the Water Utility Department of the Municipality of Sanliurfa, as well as ensure correct, effective and appropriate implementation of the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, and Collectors of the Municipality of Sanliurfa. 

Location:                                               Sanliurfa, Turkey

Duration:                                               The duration of the project is fixed at 38 months

Intended Commencement Date:            September 2015/October 2015

Qualifications and Skills

• University Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in engineering and/or economics.  In case of lacking of the aforementioned university degrees, 10 years of professional experience is required in the relevant field. 

General Professional Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required

Specific Professional Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in water/waste water sector
• A minimum of 1 projects experience, including institutional capacity building activities for water utility companies/institutions/departments etc.: Preparations of documents (projects, designs, tender dossier, etc.) will not be accepted as capacity building activities
• Experience in tariff setting calculations, for water utilities/municipalities is an asset
• Experience in financial and economic analysis of water and/or wastewater infrastructure investment projects is an asset. 
• Experience in EU Financed Project will be considered an asset.
