Hill is currently submitting a proposal for the Technical Assistance and Supervision for the Sanliurfa Wastewater Treatment Plant Project in Sanliurfa, Turkey. 

The overall object of the projects is to contribute to the compliance of the Municipality of Sanliurfa with the existing EU and Turkish Legislation of the Wastewater sector. 

The purpose is to modernize and increase the operation performance of the Water Utility Department of the Municipality of Sanliurfa, as well as ensure correct, effective and appropriate implementation of the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, and Collectors of the Municipality of Sanliurfa. 

Location:                                               Sanliurfa, Turkey

Duration:                                              The duration of the project is fixed at 38 months

Intended Commencement Date:       September 2015/October 2015

Qualifications and Skills

• University Degree in civil, environmental, chemical and/or mechanical engineering.  In case of lacking of the aforementioned university degrees, 12 years of general professional experience in water/wastewater infrastructure sector will suffice
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Computer skills in Office applications
• Experience in FIDIC Conditions and/or PRAG Procedures
• Turkish Language Skills will be considered an asset

General Professional Experience

• A minimum of 7 years required

Specific Professional Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in supervision and/or construction of water/wastewater infrastructure projects
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Supervision Team (supervision of construction works on behalf of Employer which are implemented under FIDIC Contract) as Team Leader/Project Manager/Deputy Team Leader/Resident Engineer
• Experience in the operation of water supply systems and/or wastewater treatment plants is an asset.
