Hill is currently submitting a proposal for the Supervision of Works for Development of Winter Tourism Corridor in Erzincan and Kars in Turkey.

The overall objective of this contract is to: “Improve the competitiveness of the winter tourism industry in Kars, Erzurum and Erzincan.

The specific objective will be to provide supervision and contract management services (as the Engineer) for the Works Contracts to be executed under Conditions of Contract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer (Red FIDIC Book).

Location: Kars, Erzurum and Erzincan,  Turkey

Duration: The duration of the project is fixed at 33 months

Intended Commencement Date: July 2015

Qualifications and Skills:

• BA in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Excellent English
• Turkish is an asset

General professional experience:

• Preferably 15 years but a minimum of 7 years of professional experience

Specific professional experience:

• Preferably 7 years but a minimum of 5 years of working experience in construction supervision services (on behalf of the Employer) of water related infrastructure works (water / waste water networks, WWTPs, drinking water treatment plants etc.)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Supervisor (Engineer or Employer’s representative) or TL/ Project Manager of Contractor in an infrastructure implemented under FIDIC Contract Conditions
• Experience in FIDIC Claims management will be considered as an asset
