IT Shared Services Manager

The role of IT Shared Services Manager is to setup and build IT Shared Services and manage the overall IT Shared Service function which covers the full and the focus service hotels IT operations within the defined service scope

The successful candidate is required to take responsibility for various IT related tasks associated with the planning and implementation of rollouts of central projects and updates as well as maintenance needs.

To support the Country Director IT and hotel level IT teams in their operational and managerial tasks.

To support and assist other divisions shared service setup and projects from the IT stand point.

The person is responsible for supporting the direction for technology applications, communications (voice and data), and computing services at IT Shared Service covered properties, by utilizing Hilton Corporate IT Standards.

This role also involves effective communication when required with General Managers and Hotel Teams and guide them for successfully maintaining the Hotel IT Systems.

What will I be doing?

 The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

Planning Activities 20%

• Identify and engage with all property level IT teams and Hotel Management to ensure all stack holders are in line with overall project timelines.

• Create documentation and run rollout and implementation planning and checklists

• Take roles in change managements and transition activities including, communication and presentation

Organizing Activities 30%

• Prepare monthly status reports of share service support and project activities for the services hotels

• Supports managing the priorities and delegated work to matrix team members accordingly.

• Work with key stakeholders and departments, structuring the resources and activities of the IT Organization so objectives are accomplished.

• Assist and take roles in disseminating, organizing and communicating regarding assignments and projects within Turkey IT Field Services and key Operational Teams

• Ensure regular contact and communication with assigned hotel/ cluster GM's and executive teams, including attendance and participation at cluster meetings

Directing Activities 20%

• Assist managing the deployment of key 3rd party projects to the IT shared service covered hotels

• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of new and existing IT Standards

• Work with Corporate teams and assist in the pilot and /or early adoption of new technologies and localization projects within the IT shared service scope

• Implement and mandate IT Field Service departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of the department are set out in accordance with department and company objectives.

• Communicate important and necessary information to team members via email, memos, reports and/or phone calls.

• Assist managing local third party vendor relationships and monitoring the quality and cost of services.

• Leverage effective partnerships with preferred vendors, corporate IT, and hotel team members.

• Inform senior management of department’s progress and advises them on key issues to help the decision making process.

Controlling Activities 30%

• Assist and support to responsible teams to ensure that hotels are set up to comply with SOX, PCI-DSS security requirements.

• Responsible for assuring routine tasks are taking place with integrity with strick control.

• Assist owning and manage IT-related projects (i.e. process, budgets, scope, delivery etc.).

• Obtain Quotes, Review and approve local IT purchase orders for centrally driven IT projects

• Understanding of Networking & Telephony Standards

• Knowledge of various Hotel systems i.e. PMS, POS, BackOffice, HR and Payroll etc.

• Expert in Hospitality IT Technical and Operational Standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience in understanding and commenting on local regulations and hospitality standards

• Significant related experience

• up to 20% travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive departmental management experience

• Must support in diversity and multilingual environments

• Technical Diploma
