Product Manager

A social media advertising venture by Hurriyet, Bumads is building the leading blogger and social media influencer network in Turkey, Germany and around the world. We distribute branded content across social media platforms and blogs in order to achieve high impact viral ad campaigns for top global advertisers.

Bumads is headquartered in Berlin and our product team is located in Istanbul.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help us drive new products and features from inception to launch. A detail and results oriented, experienced individual with great communications skills, he/she must have a through understanding of Internet technologies and possess a great instinct for developing compelling products.

With the goal of improving the quality, usability, and market results of our new products, our new team member must possess a strong academic background, the technical aptitude to work with our team of engineers and designers, and a strong business sense to drive product goals and strategies.

Job Description:

• Gain an excellent understanding of business goals, customer needs, identify market opportunities,
• Take ownership to launch products and new features, coordinating the work-flow and communications with entire product team,
• Plan product roadmap, prioritize and conceptualize new features, gather product requirements, communicate these using presentations, wireframes, user stories,
• Constantly improve the existing product by building iterative improvements on a weekly basis while measuring the impact on all relevant KPIs,
• Manage development or acquisition of required product content (i.e. user communications, various text, pictures, videos),
• Manage communications and business relationships with respective 3^rd parties.

• University degree, preferably from engineering or business administration faculties,
• Min. 3 years of work experience as an end-to-end product manager / specialist in software/web technologies,
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills,
• Strong understanding of web architecture, technologies and concepts,
• Experience with UX / UI design, good understanding of usability concepts,
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment,
• Background in online advertising or marketing industry is a big plus,
• Passionate about social media, online products and strive for perfection,
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
