Business Unit Deputy Manager

Our customer is a food producer, mainly supplying their over decades trustworthy and very satisfied national and international customers in the food-, pharmaceutical- and other industries with innovative and surly certified products from a fully equipped and automated production line. 

They are embedded in a strong group of companies which grows continuously over already three generations in Turkey. For their up and running, recently enlarged facility we are looking for a business unit deputy manager.

...to work with their very experienced General Manager. For this new established role we look for the following: 

Tasks:

• Increase management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
• Communicating values, strategies, Visions and objectives;
• Assigning accountabilities and plan, monitor, and appraise job results;
• Develops strategic plans by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending activities.
• Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
• Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and policies and practices;
• Coordinating actions with corporate staff.
• Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Next to an related degree from a reputable University we look for a person with at least 10 years management experience in an production environment in a similar position.
• Fluent in English, additional German or French would be an asset
• National and International travel is required
• MS Office
• No military obligations
