External Sales Engineer

John Crane world leader in industrial sealing systems looking for  "External Sales Engineer"  for Izmir Area

Purpose Statement:

The position will be based in  Izmir  and will report to John Crane Turkey Country Manager, in Istanbul.

Key Tasks :

Commercial Activities:

• JC Corporate & Global Products promotion and sales to selected customers in accordance with John Crane Commercial Global Policy
• Quotations preparation
• Visits to customers for JC products portfolio promotion
• Acquisition of new customers
• New products promotion and presentation
• Customers’ technical training
• Customers technical, economical & financial evolution follow-up
• Local technical and commercial support for International Projects
• Budget responsibility for assigned customers in regard to Sales / Orders / Profit
• Intensive cooperation with all relevant persons within the entity and sister companies
• Monitoring of market tendencies and competitor activities

Required previous experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience sealing/pump/oil and gas industry
• Marketing Know How
• Excellent Team playing skills
• Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage.

Required Technical Knowledge:

• Extensive experience in the area of oil and gas industry

• Knowledge of sealing systems

Education/Qualifications :

• University degree Mechanical Engineering or similar studies
• Computer literate in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word)
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
