John Crane world leader in industrial sealing systems looking for "Sales Back Office Support" Staff for Istanbul Sales and Service Center
Key Tasks :
Sales Administration
- Preparation of job quotations, including coding and pricing, in coordination with relevant Sales Manager and sister companies.
- Support external sales team with specific customer account information,
- Networking and communication with customers, agents, and other JC operations.
- Review customers enquiries and orders
- Permanent follow up and monitoring of internal order processing and delivery performance.
- Use of company business systems.
- Work with other departments to expedite the service to customers.
- Prepare notifications for non compliances.
- Review LOC for commercial terms and conditions.
Shipping/Packing
? Product Stock description in accounting system, Stock entry and invoicing
? Matching invoice details and product and make order ready to be delivered
? Liase with carriers, tax office, customs
? Document preparation and follow up legal documents (i.e. lette of credit, shipping orders, customs documents)
? Records shipment data such as charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies for reporting and accounting purposes.
? Liase with third party representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages and nonconformance to specifications.
Finance Support:
? Check bank accounts
? Allignment of bills provided from abroad and agreement with finance regarding payments
? Forwarding customer cheques to bank
? Forwarding documents to Accounting Department
? Alignment with Accounting Department regarding cost during reporting period
General Tasks:
? Answering phone calls
? Assistance of country Manager
? Procurement function office supplies / Cleaning Personnel / Plumper / Electrician
? Mail in-box/out-box
? Temporary support of colleagues other areas within her capability.

Required previous experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role (technical or engineering industry preferred)
- Excellent administration and organizational skills
- Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage.
Required Technical Knowledge:
? Extensive experience in the area of custom's procedures
? Knowledge of import and export procedures.
? Letter of credit management.
Education/Qualifications :
- University degree or diploma in Logistics or similar field.
- Computer literate in MS Office and MS Outlook, SAP
- Commercial and Technical understanding
Language: English Written Level: Excellent Spoken Level : Excellent
