Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum is looking for a candidate for ''Order Taker”position.

LOCATION: Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay BODRUM.

DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage.

START: 1 April 2015

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Waiter/ Waitress & Minibar Attendant
• Display excellent conversation skills and selling techniques at all times
• Report to duty punctually wearing the correct uniform, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel
• Have the knowledge and understanding to explain and perform upselling all items offered by the department assigned as well as offering alternatives

• Responsible to take orders via telephone and ensure correct posting in POS system for communication to the service and kitchen department.

• A courteous, professional and efficient service is provided at all times.

• Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints and feedback to supervisors.
• Assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment
• Projecting at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.
• Be able to ensure a flawless service to the highest standards and as required by the department and the hotel.

COMPETENCIES

• Minimum vocational school graduation.
• Experience in an F&B service role.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Turkish and English.
• Additional language is beneficial.
• Ability to work as part of a team, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent telecommunication skills, able to represent Kempinski to clients via telephone
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to operate computer and office equipment.
