Mechanical Engineer

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Implement the Project Quality System, including the Project Quality Plan and Quality Management Procedures within specific area of responsibility to ensure framework is in place for quality compliance requirements.
• Initiate, review, approve and maintain, as applicable, quality procedures including Quality Control Procedures, Inspection Testing Procedures and Quality System Procedures.
• Act as liaison between the Client, the Engineering Project Team and the QC System for the establishing and co-ordination of inspection activities.
• Manage all Quality Staff and activities ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, to the required quality standards and within prescribed timeframes. Includes allocation and mobilization of resources and monitoring of usage.
• Attend site meetings with clients as the J.V. representative on all matters relating to Quality Control.
• Perform quality audits on projects, suppliers, sub-contractors to ensure compliance, and internal J.V. audits to ensure ISO compliance obligations are met.
• Establish a system for Final Certification Documentation to facilitate confirmation that project construction is completed in accordance with contract requirements.
• Identify development and training needs within the department and make recommendations for appropriate programmes.

• Attending exhibitions regarding latest developments in the field of mechanical services and updating the department accordingly.

-              Advanced training courses in construction methods and procedures

 Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Supporting documents (Bachelor’s Degree) must be included in the application for eligibility purposes

Experience: 0-3 years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering, related to pipes connections, and fuel tanks maintenance

Language: Native Turkish, fluent English

Knowledge: Knowledge of construction practices of local government is required, especially fuel/gas station, as well their requirements for the Turkish firms
