Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum, will be located on a 60 hectare waterfront site on the northern side of the peninsula, at 'Cennet Koyu' or Paradise Bay, offering panoramic views over the Aegean Sea. Built on a series of levels nestled in the resort's landscaped hillside, surrounded by ancient olive groves and pine trees, this luxurious destination resort offers the perfect retreat. The resort's 82 exclusive guestrooms and 24 suites will provide the largest accommodation in the area, all with stunning sun-decks and terraces, and many with private gardens and infinity edged pools.

The development also includes 194 luxury private homes which will be branded and managed as Residences at Mandarin Oriental, providing a unique opportunity for ownership along the Turkish Riviera which is also known as the Turquoise Coast.

Offering the finest dining in the region, Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum will have a selection of six restaurants and bars including al fresco waterside dining, a stylish lobby lounge, poolside bar and a signature Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. The resort will also offer a 135-seat ballroom and a further four function rooms.

An all-encompassing Spa at Mandarin Oriental will offer the most comprehensive range of wellness, beauty and massage treatments available in the region. Built on a hillside ridge overlooking a lush valley and the sea, the Spa will benefit from a secluded location with its own private beach.

Leisure facilities abound on property along a two kilometre expansive stretch of shoreline with three private bays, a Beach Club with water activities and mooring for yachts, a comprehensive Sports Centre, dedicated Kids Club and luxury retail. An array of swimming pools set in the resort's verdant hillside will also be a key feature.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities
Administration

  • Must have good food and beverage knowledge
  • Start and finish shifts at the correct time
  • Must be able to set up service stations
  • Must be familiar with all billing procedures
  • Must be capable of handling all relevant equipment
  • Attend daily meetings
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions arranged by MO
  • Monitor and supervise small VIP/private dining functions that are not handled by banqueting
  • Ensure correct quality, presentation and delivery of all dishes and drinks
  • Perform all administrative tasks designated to him/her by management
  • To ensure that mis en place are completed shift to shift and during service in        order to provide an efficient service
  • To assist and prepare all VIP amenities in order to deliver them in compliance with our Legendary Quality Standards
  • To perform any tasks relating to billing according to hotel services standard and cashiering policies

 Maintaining Standards

  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement

Guest Service

  • Taking orders from all guests in line with IRD policy
  • Offering suggested up-selling based on outlet policy
  • Serving food and beverages according to MO standards
  • Handling special requests from guests and VIPs
  • Handling guest complaints
  • Anticipating the guests’ needs
  • To collect all breakfast door knobs by checking every floor and doors, ensuring all guests receive the requested service
  • To perform the clearing of all trolleys and trays in wash service areas, ensuring efficient rotation of silver, china and glassware and minimising breakage

Hygiene and Cleanliness

  • Ensure that hotel grooming and hygiene standards are being maintained, enhancing a professional image
  • Ensure that the environment of the outlet is being maintained to MO standards

 Health and Safety

  • Be aware of, and comply with, safe working practises as laid down under FHLSS. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your work place
  • Be aware of, and comply with local and relevant Food Acts.
  • Wear any appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Hotel.
  • Report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to the Hotel procedures.
