Accounting Manager

MARS CINEMA GROUP is Turkey’s largest cinema exhibitor of Cinemaximum. The organization aims to establish and operate the most diverse and innovative enterprises in the entertainment industry.
 


We are looking for an "Accounting Manager" who is able to conduct the following processes;
 
 

• Ensuring the accounting teams are providing month end closing and all other required management reports, all tax and such declarations belonging to the company are prepared accurately on time and submitted to the relevant institution and organizations compliance with Turkish GAAP,
• Carrying out any kind of accounting transactions of the company within the frame of laws, relevant legislation and generally accepted accounting principles,
• Carrying out the necessary transactions of the company within the frame of the Ministry of Finance and such institutions and organizations,
• Ensuring that all contracts and other official documents are stored, protected and archived within the frame of company procedures and relevant legislation,
• Ensuring the order and functionality of all accounting and operational files of the company and control of the storage,
• Creating necessary users in accounting system/program as per written and duly approved requests, authorizing these users in compliance with their tasks, removing the authorities in case of change of tasks, controlling the authorities periodically,
• Making necessary changes/corrections and improvements in the accounting system/program,
• Determining department budget, managing the operations in accordance with the budget throughout the year,
• Ensuring required working environment and peace, providing necessary support and imposing team spirit within the unit byeeping up the motivation within the team

University degree in relevant fields
Minimum 10 years experience in accounting, 3 years in service sector is a must
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (Korean will be an asset)
Excellent LOGO Tiger knowledge
Excellent MS Office applications knowledge
Experience in team management 
Strong knowledge and experience about Turkish GAAP and Tax Legislation
Having SMMM certificate is a must
Result and detail oriented and well-disciplined
Good planning, organising and communication skills
Strong time management and project management skills
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
No military service obligation for male candidates
