CSR & HYGIENE MANAGER / FOOD ENGINEER (GIDA MÜHENDİSİ)

Job Brief:

Are you familiar and knowledgeable in the mechanisms and application of HACCP and food & safety guidelines to local property as well as able to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered as stakeholders, in the name of corporate social responsbility?

Can you facilitate, investigate and analyse incidents/accident and make sure lessons learned are shared and communicated to the concern parties, verify the continuing implementation and effectiveness of the operations with regards to Food Safety? Are you capable of monitoring and ensuring Food Hygiene related equipment are compliant to local legislation and international standards, and have the required maintenance and third party certification?

Have you conducted and coordinated HACCP audits, third party visitations related to Food Hygiene which include visits by the authorities, authorised insurance companies and consultants?

Are you a seasoned professional who has led corporate social responsibility related initiatives, and can demonstrate a track record of leading it with measureable business and social results?

Can you demonstrate experience with organizational positioning/reputation building, creativity and innovation within the Corporate Social Responsibility area?

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Food hygiene field, with at least 1 to 2 years in managerial role, ideally within the hospitality sector and have a good knowledge of local and international legislation, standards and best practices.

A recognized degree in Food Hygiene, food safety management, certified Food Hygiene trainer from a recognised local Authority is essential. Certificated of IOSH or NEBOSH or equivalent etc is desired.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with different groups of diverse needs and requirements in a motivational manner is crucial.

Good team player with ability to drive results and motivate / manage the performance of others with a personality that conveys poise and credibility with high levels of convincing and influencing skills to gain Management's trust.

The role reports to the General Manager / Hotel Manager.

• University/College degree in a related discipline (Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School’s)
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Very good computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications
• 5 star hotel and resort experience, pre-opening and operation knowledge in an international chain hotel
• Senior leadership experience
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Turkish Citizenship
• Non-smoker
