SAFETY & SECURITY MANAGER / GÜVENLİK MÜDÜRÜ

Job Brief:

Can you maintin a safe and secure environment for guests and associates by establishing and enforcing safety and security policies and procedures, supervising the safety & security specialist and keeping updated with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publication, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organisations? Do you know that the role is involved in assisting the property leaders with guests related investigation and injuries or incidents and the Director of Talent Resources & Development on associate related investigations on disciplinary matters?  Are you capable of conducting property safety audits, safety related training and periodic review and evaluation of safety procedures and practices; supports and advises property safety committees; and serves as the primary liaison on safety related issues? If you have answered yes to all of our questions above, you might be our Nikki fit for this role.  

Job Requirements:

Reporting, scheduling, investigating, patrolling and surveillane skills, good interpersonal skills, written and spoken English and local language is compulsory. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel environment or a year in the police force and the army or the law enforcements divisions of the country. Familiarity with crisis management, communication and handling is crucial. The role reports to the General Manager / Hotel Manager.

• University/College degree in a related discipline (Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School’s)
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Very good computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications
• 5 star hotel and resort experience, pre-opening and operation knowledge in an international chain hotel
• Professional knowledge of preparation and effective operation of departmental budget
• Senior leadership experience
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Turkish Citizenship
• Non-smoker
