STATION CHEF (BUTCHER)
Job Brief:
Can you assist in the preparation and service of all sections in the Kitchen? Do you know the role informs on a daily basis to the Station/ Demi Station Chef on all relevant information on operational and personal matters, sees to it that all food items for the restaurant are prepared on time and meet quality and quantity standards of the respective restaurant? Are you aware that the role prepares on daily basis food requisitions as assigned, maintains cleanliness in all assigned areas, including refrigerators and freezers, controls cost by minimizing spoilage, waste, proper storage and exercising strict portion control and ensures freshness and suitability of products used by the section and that they are stored properly? If you have answered yes to all of our questions above, you might be our Nikki fit for this role.
Job Requirements:
Past similar experience in preparation and mis en place is advantageous. Must possess the relevant food handling certificate as required by the local authorities. Familiar with HACCP Guidelines and food safety requirements. Individual has also to be physically fit and able to lift, move and carry items within the prescribed limits. The role reports to the Station/ Demi Station Chefs.
Aranan Nitelikler
• University/College degree in a related discipline (Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School’s)
• 5 star hotel and resort experience, pre-opening and operation knowledge in an international chain hotel
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Turkish Citizenship
• Non-smoker
