OPERATIONS MANAGER / OPERASYON MÜDÜRÜ

Job Brief:

Can you be responsible for  the planning and managing of room and related area’s operations of the property to achieve guests, associates, corporate and owners' satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals? Do you know that you are also responsible for short and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the room and related areas? Will you be able to recommend the area’s budget and manage expenses within approved budget constraints? in supervising the Guest Experience Team to ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver guests an exceptional experience from touch down to take off? Are you aware that the role is responsible for managing the first impressions of our guests and, therefore, must oversee the entire guest experience operations to maintain high standards sales attitude and promotes the hotel brand, use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, impart knowledge to the team to ensure departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures are met to satisfaction? Are you aware that your major areas of responsibilities/management include guest experience, on the move, 24 seven, house & grounds quality, laundry and Nikki Shop? Are you ready to assume overall responsible for providing all guests with quality service while maximizing room financial results and productivity, and developing senior coordinators and associates within the division?  If you have answered yes to all of our questions above, you might be our Nikki fit for this role.  

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role in a 5 star hotel property. Excellent written and spoken English is a must. Good written and spoken local language is an added advantage. Other traits include and are not limited to attention to details, organization, data entry skills, room division software, analyzing information,  thoroughness, reporting research results, strong organisational, budgetary, yielding, troubleshooting and technical skills complimented by good leadership and time management skills. Business administration / hospitality or hotel related qualification at a graduate or post graduate level is preferred. The role reports to the General Manager / Hotel Manager and has a functional dotted line reporting to the Group Director of Operations.

• University/College degree in a related discipline (Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School’s)
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Very good computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications
• 5 star hotel and resort experience, pre-opening and operation knowledge in an international chain hotel
• Professional knowledge of preparation and effective operation of departmental budget
• Senior leadership experience
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Turkish Citizenship
• Non-smoker
