SALES MANAGER

Job Brief:

Can you manage and promote sales of the company’s products and services in within a defined market segments within specific geographic area, province or country and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximising sales profits? Are you able to ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and sales strategy implementation? Can you identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Are you ready to assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically providing input on realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales activities; and sales promotion programme plans? If you have answered yes to all of our questions above, you might be our Nikki fit for this role.  

 

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a 5 star hotel environment. Performance and result driven. Must have had Sales Experience in the Hospitality/Travel industry - MICE & Corporate Sales. Able to prioritise workload, is organized and well structured. Must have initiative and be a self starter, not waiting to be driven. Computer literacy  and sound knowledge of Hotel system is advantageous. Possess excellent communication skills in customer relations, be aggressive in targeting new business and exceed established goals for their market segment. The role reports to the Director of Sales.

Aranan Nitelikler

• University/College degree in a related discipline (Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School’s)
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Very good computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications
• 5 star hotel and resort experience, pre-opening and operation knowledge in an international chain hotel
• Professional knowledge of preparation and effective operation of departmental budget
• Senior leadership experience
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Turkish Citizenship
• Non-smoker
