Barmen/Barmaid

We are looking for a “Bartender” to work in our Hotel Renaissance Izmir which is a part of Marriott International Hotel chain. You will be responsible;

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems,

Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.

To provide an excellent and consistent level of service to our guests,

Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service in order to maximize guest satisfaction,

Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, restock bar with liquor and supplies. Transport supplies to bar set-up area. Wash soiled glassware. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area,

Strengthens the food and beverage/culinary team by assisting in other outlets when needed,

Accountable for enforcing all legal obligations professionally and consistently,

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.

Work experience in hotel operations is a plus.

Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.

Good command of English.

Team player.

Self-motivated.

Willing to learn new skills.
