Location

The Sheraton Adana, a 227 room new built hotel, will open mid 2013. The hotel will be located on the bank of river Seyhan with a nice view to the old city of Adana.

Executive Chef

We are looking for Executive Chef that will be responsible for

• direct food preparation, production and control for all food outlets and banquet facilities at hotel.
• enhancing the food product that is presented to guests.
• making changes that respond to the marketplace and to guests’ needs, both present and anticipated.
• recommending changes to the food product. Use market research to develop new products.
• maintaining quality of food product and ensuring consistency in food delivery and standards.
• selection, training and development of the personnel within the department.
• financial management of the operation.

The successful candidate must have a hands on yet strategic approach, strong leadership skills, be highly organized, a good decision maker, results driven and have the ability to work in a busy environment. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong financial acumen recommending budgeting strategies and managing expenses within approved budget constraints and posses the ability to educate and drive their team. Candidates must have lengthy experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef. Fluent in English / Turkish is a plus.
