Chemistry Expert

An international consulting company is seeking a member of team with the following specification

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Ecology or other Natural Sciences related to assignment. In the absence of the required degree, at least 17 years of professional experience in the related areas is requested.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• At least 12 years of experience in the sector(s) related to the Lot.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical and scientific fields required for the implementation of the Water Framework Directive and/or Environmental Quality Standards Directiveand/orother related Directives.
• At least 2 river basin management plans experience in setting of environmental objectivesfor chemical statussetting, design and upgrade of monitoring programme on chemical status, andexecution and assessment of chemical monitoring.
• Experience in development of measures for water pollution reduction and improving chemical statuswill be an asset.
• Experience in projects related to Integrated Water Resources Management will be an asset.
