The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead and oversee the day to day operation of the Human Resources Department as well as play a critical role in the implementation of the hotel’s human resources strategy
- Assess organizational needs, develop aligned human resource solutions and implement strategies in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, recognition, administration and Colleague wellness
- Promote positive Colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
- Assist Departmental Leaders and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified in Colleague feedback
- Effectively manage the annual human resource budget
- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
- Plan and ensure timely use of different recruitment methods such as media advertisement, through hospitality institutions, agencies, executive search and internal notices to meet the manpower needs of the hotel
- Ensure successful team member events such as Annual Dinner & Dance, Long Service Awards, Retirees’ Farewell, Management Communication Forums and General team member Meetings
- Maximise the use of the human resource system, providing all necessary reports as required
- Comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures at all times
- Assist to oversee the Training Officers in their execution of their duti

We are looking for a well organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or Business Management, plus 7-10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
•Experience leading others required.
•Previous experience in hospitality or similar industry required.
•Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Computer programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and Human Resources/payroll systems. ADP/Timesaver experience preferred.
•You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
