Purchasing Engineer

Ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Procurement of both local and import materials/ products/ services, managing contract phases (payment terms, lead-times) and executing pay-back management, issue purchase orders according to company procedure and follow up till successfull fulfillment, research potential new suppliers, support of negotiating and partly negotiate supplier quotations and contracts on behalf of the company procedure to obtain favorable prices, terms and conditions of payment and service levels, following customs clearance operations of confirmed import orders for materials, spare parts, samples and finished goods on time with optimum cost and in accordance with the existing legislations, instructing customs broker about import operations, preparing and forwarding job orders and following import operations, controlling import operation costs and forwarding the invoices with necessary explanations to accounting department, checking costs, quality and levels of service and following up related reporting.

• University degree in Engineering,
• Experience at a similar position at least for 2 years,
• Fluent in both written and spoken English,
• Proficieny in MS Office Applications,
• Strong communication and organization skills,
• Self confident, creative, team player, have ability to push things forward,
• Strong attention to details,
• Action and result oriented,
• Active driving license and no obstacles to travel,
• Military service must be completed for male candidates.
