NIGHT MANAGER

We’re opening Soho House Istanbul, a members’ club and hotel, in the Beyoğlu district in early 2015. Soho House will occupy the grand Palazzo Corpi, which was originally built for a Genoese family in 1882 and then became the US consulate 25 years later. In addition to extensive club spaces, it will have 87 bedrooms, a Cecconi’s restaurant with a courtyard garden, two rooftop pools, a gym, a large screening room, a night club, event spaces, and a Cowshed spa.

As with all our Houses, our aim in Istanbul will be to assemble a local community of members that have something in common: namely, a creative soul. The majority of our members work in traditional creative fields, with the film, fashion, advertising, music, art and media sectors, among others, heavily represented.

We are looking for Night Manager who will be responsible of

• Acting as manager on duty for the hotel in the absence of the Front Office Manager dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
• Managing the night shift in the department ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate Front Office activities with other departments.
• Informing all Overnight staff of nightly activities, group and SAG arrivals as well as special requests and repeat guests. Checking accommodations, making sure any special requests are carried out accordingly, greet guests upon arrival and ensure escort to accommodations if appropriate.
• Posting all daily room charges to the guest ledger as well as all other charges for the day not previously posted by the front office cashiers.

Ideal candidate must have;

-       Strong Front Office experience with at least 1 year as night auditor/manager

-       Preferably experienced in Opera system

-       Strong management skills, handle emergency situations

-       Ability to interact with guests and employees with a positive demeanor

-       Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage his/her time

-       Yes Yes Yes attitude

-       Enjoying work, passionate about the job and open minded
