FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (f/m)

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (f/m)

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for stock control and correct movements in stock, support in logistic process as well;
• Keeping adequate and accurate tax records, responsible for timely and accurate reporting and preparation of monthly reports to tax authorities and state (special taxes, VAT, income tax, personal tax, customs duty etc.);
• Insuring accounting records reflect IAS, IFRS and Turkish national accounting policies
• Responsible for control of all accounting transactions and correct bookkeeping;
• Prepare work papers supporting the annual financial statement audits;
• Check posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the General ledger. Verify the accuracy of the General ledger and resolve issues;
• Responsible for invoice control and ensuring that payment occurs correctly and punctually;
• Overseeing and tracking of receivables/payables, ensuring their timely collection/payable payments and follow up closely on outstanding debts;
• Providing accurate and timely cash flow inputs;
• Organizing, checking and controling of monthly salary calculation;
• Organizing, checking and controlling of all domestic and foreign payments in Company in coordination with Member of the Board responsible for Finance;
• Establishing cooperation and coordination with auditors, bank, tax authorities and other state agencies in coordination with Member of a Board responsible for Finance;
• Ensures adequate controls to minimize business risks and supports management in making business decisions;
• Reporting to Member of a Board responsible for Finance;
• Preparation of monthly profit and loss statement in accordance with Member of a Board responsible for Finance
• Performs other duties in accordance with Member of the Board responsible for Finance

Requirements:

• University education in Accounting and Finance;

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Excellent understanding of IFRS, local accounting practices and tax regulations;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
• Analytical and learning abilities, proactive approach to work;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team spirit;
• Professional PC skills; excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Turkish citizen

• Accurate & independent in accounting matters, high level of integrity;
• Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously (multitasking);
• Highly organized and efficient, excellent priority setting skills;

• Precise and responsible attitude towards work;
