SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

Reviewing and understanding business requirements working with business analysts and cross-functional teams

•Designing, developing and maintaining applications, enhancing product offerings in accordance with technical design and consistent with business objectives

•Identifying and resolving client concerns

•Having an active role in implementation phase; managing integration processes within different IT systems

•Fulfilling responsibilities regarding the Information Security Management System

(Candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle; demonstrate abilities to learn both the business processes as well as new and existing technologies. Candidate shall understand the fundamentals of architecture and have hands-on experience with implementing applications using some popular frameworks. Candidate will work in a team environment, but must be able to produce with minimal supervision.)

University degree in computer sciences or related fields

•Fluency in English

•7 years of experience in application development with Java (C++ knowledge/experience preferred)

•Knowledge of Object Oriented concepts and technologies, UML

•Knowledge of software life cycle and methodologies

•Experience on Multi-tier architectures, design patterns and Java BluePrints

•Experience with J2EE technologies and web application development

•Experience with one of the Object Relational Mapping (ORM) solutions

•Spring framework experience is a plus

•Adobe Flex knowledge /experience is a plus

•Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills

•Strong technical documentation and verbal/written communication skills

•Team player
