Telescope Services AB is a Swedish company based in Lund, Sweden. The company was established 15 years ago and we have a long history from supporting our clients on a vast number of software projects, all over the world.
We have a position open and we are looking for self-confident people, with good communication skills and a genuine interest in technology. We would like you to have several years of experience involving similar work tasks.
We are looking for Hadoop full stack developer. And you will work in an English spoken team, a team of brilliant problem solvers, hence you must have good in spoken and written English.

Requested competences (please make sure this is documented in your CV):
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills in Java/Scala
- Fluency in such Hadoop technologies as YARN, Spark, Storm, Samza
- Fluency with pipeline/workflow technologies, such as Oozie, Azkaban
- Preferably to have experience with Kafka, Python or NoSQL Databases
- Experience with GIS might be a big plus
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12-36 months in site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week.
Compensation: Negotiable.
We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a long term employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden. For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.

Telescope Services AB is based in Lund, Sweden and has since the late 1990's delivered consultants and customer adapted software solutions within a wide range of business segments.
