İş Tanımı

Chefmanship has been recognised as a differentiating capability for the Unilever business.

The TM Chef will lead the local Chefmanship programme for “Turkey” in retail.

The main job purpose is as follows;

• The TM-chef is responsible for the culinary quality and innovative application of the product portfolio.

• The TM-chef is the culinary “conscience” of the business. In cooperation with appropriate Innovation chef he/she is responsible for establishing culinary benchmarks for both product innovation and rejuvenation.

• He/She is managing and safeguarding the culinary aspects of the development of local jewels and other local projects

• In regional projects he/she provides expertise, local culinary knowledge and insights, and ensures that local taste and quality expectations are met. Once regional agreement has been reached, he/she will promote and help successfully implement the product locally.

• The TM Chef will deliver culinary input to activation like PR events and activities, trade shows, culinary promotion of products, food photography, back-of-pack recipes, etc.

o TM will actively build and maintain good working partnerships with departments in business.

• In cooperation with central chefmanship capability group in Heilbronn(Culinary Academy), the TM Chef will help to develop training material and provide local input and subsequently implement the training in Turkey. Based on the training roadmap, he/she will give culinary training, primarily to marketing and sales, but also to others, both internally and externally.

• Cooking and tasting skills
• Ability to Translate local needs into culinary products
• Very good presentation and demonstration skills
• Basic knowledge of product development (all categories)
• Translate Consumer Insights into prototypes
• Communicative – able to communicate and sell ideas
• Able to gather information from different sources and translate those into business relevant insights and foresights
• Good knowledge of English
• Teaching skills
• Fully qualified chef, with at least 5 years relevant experience in the foodservice market
• Prior experience in the food industry and/or as a trainer will be of advantage
