Back Office Specialist

Job Description

Selected candidate(s) will be in charge of back office related works for the entire trade house and for all the markets of activity. Working in a fast paced trading environment the role requires the jobholder to be able to work both autonomously and within a team.

The position requires daily interaction with other departments within the organization. Industry and contractual deadlines to be respected. Settlement and communication with counterparties requires jobholder to be able to seek out information necessary for problem solving.

 ACTIVITIES:
Ø  Processes the transactions and ensures that accurate trading information is represented within the internal software,
Ø  reports on a daily basis the transaction results,
Ø  Makes settlements with counterparties,
Ø  Makes scheduling of local and cross-border power deliveries and sourcing,  (including weekends)
Ø  Makes settlements with related governmental institutions,
Ø  Makes settlements with brokerage companies,
Ø  Keeps record of and archives all documentation related with each transaction,

Requirements

Ø  University degree in analytical sciences,
Ø  Knowledge of energy markets ,
Ø  Experience of minimum 1 year,
Ø  Proven experience within trading environment,
Ø  Analytical skills,
Ø  Excellent computer skills (proficiency in MS Excel is anadvantage),
Ø  Excellent command of both written and spoken English,
Ø  Ability to work under pressure,
Ø  Able to work within a team but also individually when necessary.
