Industrial Engineer

UPS Turkey is looking for a Project Industrial Engineer. He/She analyzes customer solutions and actively participates in successful solution implementation while meeting the needs of customers and the company. This position also provides ongoing analysis of implementation projects, plans and templates through statistics, outcomes, lessons learned.

Core Responsibilities of the Project Specialist are:

•          Defines Plan Deployment
•     Implements plan definitions encompassing mid to large size scale projects with single/multi sites and multiple products and service components to ensure an effective project plan is delivered.
•     Gathers impacted user-base and location statistics to evaluate findings and compare to current models.
•    Enlists stakeholders to define criteria and constraints associated with implementation scope and deployment strategy to ensure an effective project implementation.
•    Develops the definition of the deployment strategy to ensure schedules and costs are aligned to the project plan.
•          Develops in Deployment and Reporting
•    Controls completion of project deliverables to ensure they remain within the budget and timeline.
•    Manages variances against project tasks (i.e., planned versus actual) to determine impact and contingency needs.
•    Gathers feedback from implementation efforts and post-production audits to ensure continuous improvement.
•    Obtains stakeholder sign-off for project deliverables to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
•          Assists with Projects and Reporting
•     Provides assistance with project deliverables to ensure budget and timelines are met.
•     Assists with validation of planned versus actual task completion to determine project impacts.
•     Assists with post-project user audits to gather feedback for continuous improvements.
•     Conducts surveys to identify improvement for overall project implementations.
  

•                  1-2 years work/internship experience
•                   B.Sc. degree in engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
•                   Excellent command of English, comfortable with giving presentations in English
•                   Excellent command of MS-Office tools,
•                   No travel restrictions
•                   Residing in Istanbul side is preferred
•                   B Class Driving Licence owner and active driver
•                   Military service has to be completed for male candidates
