Investigator

We are seeking an Investigation Executive with the will and ambition to work in Investigation Management Function, reporting Investigation Manager of Vodafone Turkey.

• Responsible for investigating allegations of fraud & crime reported to Corporate Security and providing detailed recommendations to the business for action against staff and contractors identified as having breached any business policy or procedure or any criminal legislation.
• Ensures that all offences including theft, fraud, corruption & dishonesty are investigated and reported in a consistent manner and that investigative best practices are implemented across the company and provides authoritative advice and guidance to investigation staff.
• Investigates anomalies discovered during reconciliation or audit procedures Investigates all suspected malicious attacks against the business in line with the Investigation Policy
• Manages the “Whistle Blowing Hotline (Speak Up)” with HR. Liaison and joint investigations (where appropriate) with police /security services / prosecution authorities
• Conducst interviews and interrogations, apply the rules of evidence, and coordinate forensic audits of company activities to determine adherence to the company's policies, procedures, and ethics guidelines.
• Prepares and submits accurate and complete written reports and executive summaries of the investigations to appropriate company personnel and government agencies. (HR / Line Management / Disciplinary Committee / Law Enforcement / Prosecution Authorities)

• Identifies and makes preventative recommendations on weaknesses of process, system, product, and service or customer engagement.
• Manages background screenings together with HR
• Responsible from process improvement & cost reduction
• Evaluate and adopts Group best practice
• Executes due diligence operations on third party suppliers

• University degree from a reputable university or a National Academy in the field of criminal justice and/or policing
• Min. 5 years of experience in multinational companies’ internal audit and/or investigation departments, preferably in telecom and finance sectors including extensive experience in investigation procedures, or experience in conducting criminal investigations in Law Enforcement agencies.
• Good knowledge and experience in risk-based process auditing of financial and operational processes,
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of local and international auditing and investigation standards,
• Excellent knowledge of requirements under current legislation for disclosures and ability to give evidence in legal / disciplinary proceedings
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manual. CIA, CISA, CFE certificates are an asset,
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written,
• Good knowledge and experience of advanced MS Office applications and data-mining/analysing techniques
