Quality Control Specialist

Quality Auditor Leather

 

Acne Studios is looking for a Quality Auditor Leather to strengthen our Production Quality department. As Quality Auditor you will be responsible to ensure that all products meet Acne Studios quality standards before shipping out from our suppliers. This role requires the ability to work independently, take initiative and an action-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.

 

The position will be on a consultancy base, based in Turkey, Istanbul.  

 

Tasks will include but not be limited to;

Perform in-line and final quality audits at factories by monitoring the quality of the leather products through the various stages of production Review and check the leather skins and appearance during production Monitor leather assortment before cutting at manufacturer Producing quality audit reports of the findings and provide clear and accurate written amendment instructions to the factories with strong follow up Identify defects effectively and efficiently Clearly communicate with suppliers in writing and/or verbally regarding defective and unacceptable merchandise

Qualifications

Minimum of 10-12 year experience in similar role with a high end fashion brand Excellent English skills, written and spoken Proficiency in computer application particularly Excel, Outlook Relevant experience in quality control in leather garments Strong knowledge on leather tannery and production operations Excellent technical knowledge in leather garment construction and finishing techniques Attention to detail is a must Ability to work successfully with any personality type Ability to prioritze and maintain performance quality under pressure
