SCHOOL NURSE

A caring, positive and proactive school nurse is required to join our experienced and enthusiastic team to support the physical health and well-being of our students. 

Our well-established non-profit making school follows both the English National Curriculum and the International Primary & Middle Years Curriculum.

BESA is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this committment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check or equivalent.

Interviews will take place at the school for shortlisted candidates.

The successful applicant will: 

1. Hold  a current professional nursing qualification / registration
2. Have up-to-date CPR and First Aid skills
3. Be passionate and committed to the role they play in the health and well-being of students, staff and visitors
4. Have knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding principles
5. Be a good communicator
6. Be able to provide precise feedback and sound advice 
7. Be a committed team player 
8. Be a fluent English speaker
